The Tungsten E, was introduced in the Fall of 2003. With this model, Palm aims to
deliver an affordable device to the entry-level PDA consumer who desires
in both productivity and entertainment.
For entertainment, the Tungsten E is packed with MP3, video, and
photo playback software, a vivid color screen, and a stereo headphone jack (MP3 requires expansion card). When it is time to work, users can create and edit
Word, Excel, and PowrPoint compatible files, as well as write email, keep address and appointments, and other bonus software.
Cost is kept down thanks to the economical 126 MHz TI processor and 32MB of built-in RAM.

The Tungsten E2 is new for 2005. It has a similar design to the Tungsten E and also features 32 MB memory,
but the E2 has a quicker
processor (200 MHz Intel), alm OS Version 5.4, and Bluetooth Wireless.
